Online investing

In the age of the internet, more and more services are going online. Finance, which often leads the pack in innovation and ideas, has been relatively slow to moving online. If you don’t quite understand how to invest your money, the internet can be a great place to start. There is a whole trove of information out there, with everybody thinking they can give you the best information on how to invest your money. However, unless they are an independent financial advisor, they are only giving you information, and are not allowed to classify what they tell you as advice. Finance advice on investing money can only be given by a qualified professional, and this is something to be aware of when using the internet to find a quick and cheap solution.

The conundrum for financial advisers has long been how do you take such a personal industry and bring it to the online market. In the past, people have been more comfortable about speaking to someone face to face, but as more of our dealings move online, it is inevitable that financial services will go that way also.

We see online as a starting point. Some people will be happy with online analysis, but others will want to see us personally for bespoke wealth management. We have created different levels within our advice model, meaning that people can move from basic online advice, to more personalised telephone advice to a face-to-face appointment with an independent financial advisor for investment management.

Internet banking is now the norm within society, so why not handle the rest of your finances online like investing money. Online trading centres have been growing rapidly, and it is now estimated that the majority of trading is done online rather than over the phone. Online trading advantages include, 24/7 access, non-geographic specific locations and a “digital record” of when you made the trade. Ironically, computers are more efficient than humans and so it is in fact safer to trade online, you eliminate the human error factor.

What we aim to do is to deliver that same personal and re-assured feeling you get when you see your financial adviser, and bring it to you in a more convenient and efficient ways. By using Skype interviews, you can speak to your adviser from anywhere in the world. It also frees up a lot of time for our advisers, meaning they can spend more typing helping you conduct your financial affairs. Parts of our site are also double passworded, meaning you get extra security encryption.

We have already seen that online investing is the way forward, and all other aspects need to catch up, or it negates the beauty and efficiency we have built up with online trading By bringing your financial adviser online, you are creating yourself your very own financial services portal that you can conduct from your computer in the comfort of your own home.
